RowOntario: www.rowontario.ca

RowOntario is the governing body of the sport of rowing in Ontario. There are 50 member clubs and some 9000 individual individual members. ROWONTARIO's club membership grows by at least one club per year.

Rowing Canada Aviron: www.rowingcanada.org

Originally founded in 1880, Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) is the national governing body of the sport of rowing in Canada with 15,000 registered members at all levels: novices, juniors, university students, seniors, and masters. RCA is a member of the Canadian Olympic Committee and FISA. 

International Rowing Federation (FISA): www.worldrowing.com

“Fédération Internationale des Sociétés d’Aviron” in French, or the English equivalent “International Federation of Rowing Associations” is the governing body of the sport of rowing. FISA sets the rules and regulations for the practice of the sport, in all its forms (elite, adaptive, and soon coastal and indoor), and organizes sanctioned World Rowing events. Founded in 1892, FISA is the oldest international sports federation in the Olympic movement.

Canadian Secondary Schools Rowing Association: www.cssrarowing.ca

The Canadian Secondary Schools Rowing Association was formed to organize and run rowing championships between participating Canadian Schools. Last year over 100 Canadian schools - 82 from Ontario - participated in the annual regatta.

The Masters Rowing Association: www.mastersrowing.org

The Masters Rowing Association (MRA) is a non-profit organization, dedicated to promoting the amateur sport of rowing to masters men and women at both the recreational and competitive levels.

Craftsbury Sculling Center is located in Vermont, USA and offers 3 day, 4 day, and week long sculling clinics. Director Norm Graf was a visiting coach at the Sudbury Rowing Club for several years.

Mairin Viol, a member of the Adaptive Rowing Committee, has put together a webpage of photographs to showcase adaptive rowers. Using the Shutterfly website she has titled the page  “Adaptive rowing”.
