Our club provides an ideal setting for rowers of all ages. Interested in trying out a new sport? Considered a low impact activity, rowing is a great way to improve your overall fitness....

Sign up for one of our Learn to Row programs. Sessions are offered throughout the season at very reasonable prices.

If you are an experienced rower visiting from out-of-town, contact us, and we will do our best to get you "on the water".

As a member of the Sudbury Rowing Club you choose the degree to which you wish to participate in the sport. Whether you choose to row simply for fitness and fun, or to row competitively - provincially or nationally - is your choice. In recent years, Touring has become a component of the sport, and members have the opportunity to join rowing excursions that can last a day, a weekend, or a week!

No matter what you decide, Sudbury Rowing Club members are here to encourage and mentor you, as together, we participate in this terrific sport we call rowing. We hope to see YOU on the water!

Volunteer Opportunities

There are several areas where you can offer your time and talents to our club. We welcome any amount of time you are able to contribute, and we can accommodate flexible hours.

The following positions are currently available: safety boat drivers, coaching coordinator, safety coordinator, regatta coordinator, volunteer coordinator, experienced coxswains and rowers for our Learn to Row sessions.

High school students looking to fill their mandatory volunteer hours are more than welcome to apply.

If you would like more information, or have an idea where you might fit into our volunteer roster, contact us, we would love to hear from you!

Job Opportunities

We are always looking for talented coaches for our learning sessions and programs. Coaches should have a minimum of Level One Theory and Practical Certification from the National Coaching Certification Program.

If you are able to commit to a minimum of three hours every morning, five days a week June 1st to August 30th, contact us. Additional evening hours may be offered depending on membership demand.

Please check back here regularly for job opportunities.
